    Report A Player

    No matter how clear we make the server rules sometimes people do not care and have their own view on what Altis Life is and that's fine!

    We are a serious Roleplay community so we have very strict rules on our servers which need to be followed to ensure the quality of Roleplay and members here remains at a high level, and this is partly why people into Roleplay choose us as their home.

    We do have an active staff team however with the server being online 24 hours / 365 days and sometimes reaching a 3 server peak of 390 players we cannot be watching everyone so we turn to the community for your kind help in reporting players who do not follow the rules.

    With thousands of bans to our name already (Over 20,000) we are committed to keeping players who do not follow our rules off our servers and with your help we can achieve this.

    If the player is on Teamspeak and you can reach them there first then please make every effort to do so before starting your report to resolve the issue like adults. (This is not mandatory but is encouraged) Otherwise, you can attempt to contact the player through sidechat (OOC) and request them to Teamspeak, or through the in-game mobile.

    You have 24 hours to report the player, any report out of this time frame may be denied.

    Please note - Do not break character or roleplay in game as this would be breaking rule:

    (2.8) Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice. For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. 

    So if you are at a stage where its a clear cut rule break or you haven't been able to resolve the situation with the person then you may proceed by filling our Report a Player form.

    Please give as much detail as possible along with video/screenshot evidence so we can make the correct judgement. Any evidence provided must show context of the situation, therefore it is advised  to supply 2-3 minutes of footage before the initial rule break occurs.

    Reports are not for commenting on. The only people posting should be the reporter with evidence, and the accused with their defence. If an misunderstanding is made, do not delete your messages, this can lead to more trouble. The only other posters should be those with evidence or directly involved with evidence to hand. Violating this will result in a forum warning point with a 7 day suspension.

    Anyone creating false evidence, posting a revenge report, editing the evidence to make the accused look guilty, or knowingly providing false information on a report will end up getting banned themselves.

    All management/staff decisions are final. If you do not agree with a decision, you need to post it in your Unban Appeal, not complaints on Teamspeak. Provide Evidence where possible! If a report is rejected because of other reasons, the decision is final. However, if you have a legitimate complaint about how the report was handled, you may contact a member of management or a staff lead.

    If you are out of pocket as a result of another players actions there is a separate request for that called a Compensation Request.
