By waiting it means you get to have extra possible RP with the mechanic and also ensures that the vehicle doesn't despawn due to nobody being nearby (which I'm guessing is why the vehicles aren't there half of the time)

I've fixed it for a future update so it puts the items back into the original inventory slots when ctrl/shift clicking (only for hospital & prison collections ofc)
As already stated on the original bug report some colours were in the wrong sections - "Salmon Pink" is in the classic colours and "Wine Red" was renamed to "Black Red" in the metallic colours.
If I remember correctly only metallic colours are in the pearlescent list so that'd be why, it's not...
