Ladies & Gentleman, I am Wilco and I welcome you to Roleplay UK.
I am part of the management team on Roleplay UK and I am part responsible for the day to day running of our community & servers along with the rest of our very dedicated management team.
I am currently 33 years old and pleased to not be the oldest member of the management team but certainly not the youngest.
I live with my girlfriend of 9 years which some of the community have met during our community meetups.
I work two amazing jobs outside of the community so I can be extremely busy therefore please respect my request to not message me or add me to steam, If you need to contact someone then please use the forums only. When I am online I am either working or extremely busy.
The Foundation Stone of Roleplay UK
I founded the community in February 2014 with a vision to build a community that players could be very proud to be part of and a one that was serious about Roleplay, i am a passionate one when it comes to this community, we have achieved so many great things and you will not find another one like it.
We run a very tight ship here and what I can promise players is a place they can call home and enjoy a very likeminded Roleplay enthusiastic and pleasant community for the next 10-20 years and beyond, We are well known for our strict rules but it is that ethos that makes the community what it is!
We were the first server to make everything completely UK themed and then focus our Roleplay around that which has been a huge success which we hope to move on to other games and platforms.
Today we stand the biggest Roleplay community in the UK & Europe and our community receives over 1.2 million hits a month.
Why I am still here after 4 years ?
Our Roleplay is second to none, We have some of the most talented Roleplayers in the world and to this day some of the on the spot thinking amazes me daily.
The structure of our board/management/staff/support & development team mean that I do not actually need to be here, So if I want to take a week off I can at a moment’s notice, I rarely do but it eases the mind of the very big task and responsibility I have here.
But more importantly to my heart our community has helped many people overcome serious personal issues in real life right at their time of need.
We have laughed together, we have cried together and we have connected people to turn online friendships into real life friendships, that for me is worth every last second of time we have put into it.
