I put this in arrivals but I suppose it should go here too.

Well where do I start...

When did this all start? Well, I've been around for a while. Hailing from the lands of Chernarus I began life as a fisherman. My days were spent out collecting fish for my family to survive. Out in this russian province life was hard, the mafia ran everything. If you wanted to do anything that wasn't legal you had to have their permission, they would also take a cut from this. Even so, I had my fair share of 'encounters' with these boys. After a few years in those lands I went into the police service, as a traffic officer. A simple job as not many of us could afford to drive, resorting to bicycles for getting around. The days were long, cold and tiring. I cannot remember much from there as it was so very long ago. After a while I got wind of many officers being given job offers in a small middle eastern state, Takistan. I managed to get myself one of these offers.

I went on to join the TNP, Takistan National Police. I began serving again as a traffic officer once again. Something very quickly became apparent to me, terrorism was a very big issue here. After some time, I was conscripted to the TNA, Takistan National Army, as a trainer for their drivers. The rebel crisis had hit an all-time high resulting in vast amounts of drug smuggling and kidnappings. After a couple of years my time in the TNA came to an end and I returned to the TNP. Because of my experiences within the TNA, I was recommended for a position in a unit known as 'the team'. This highly elite unit were rarely seen. As I was to learn this unit was the elite of all elites, we were the special forces. I was embedded into a crime gang undercover. I had to do things I am not proud of. The torturing and mass murders were very difficult to deal with, watching innocent miners and their family's being taken and 'dealt with' resulted in mild PTSD. It wasn't long before that gang were taken down and given the sentences they deserved. The rebel crisis had not been ended like we thought. I was taken to a remote southern village and told to link up with other members of 'the team', our tasking was to conduct observation of a smuggling gang bringing illegal oil across the border. After a few months of watching we discovered that the TNA forces who were supposed to guard the borders were allowing tankers to cross for free, in return for northern weapons. This highly elaborate coalition was the crime of the century and had to end. With the security forces from the north drafted in, an ambush was made on the next shipment of oil. This was one of the bloodiest battles ever seen in the lands. In total we brought down an entire company of the TNA, and one of the richest most prolific gangs in the country. It was a proud day for the TNP with many awards being given out. As for us on the team, we were told that our services were no longer required but we would become a reserve team, in essence we would be there if ever required. With a small number of highly trained officers we had two possibilities, we could either go into the NATO force of the northern sector or we could take over as the close protection team for the Takistan president. We took the latter.

Before starting a new job, all of us on the team were called in to a meeting with the NATO General. He gave us the full debrief of the previous months of operations. We were also told that for personal security reasons we would need to change our names. In time the prisoners would be released and would be seeking vengeance. So in order to prevent ourselves and our families from having 'encounters' with these people we would have to take on a new identity. Months went by with many attempts on our president’s life, all of them failed. We operated escorting the president around to various meetings, public displays, and negotiations. We were the most successful group to have ever undertook the protection duties. In early 2015 the economy in Takistan was collapsing, with a crashing oil price and higher grades of oil being available elsewhere for a cheaper price, the country was in crisis. Because of this many people were emigrating to a whole new country in search of a better way of life, Altis. I had not been able to get a direct transfer to join a police service here. But I had got myself flights over and knew that if I could make it in one of the most hostile places in the world, a Greek island wouldn't be so bad. I started out as a delivery driver, when I began to realise that the problems I faced in the middle east were still very much a reality here too. I went on to join a group known as The Syndicate, a gang involved with high-level crime, nothing new there then. I took a short break only to come back and discover that the gang had been disbanded many members going off to join other gangs and factions. I spent a long time working my way up alone and building my fortunes. Months went by of endless mining and driving.

One night whilst driving a truck load of diamonds I came across some heavily armed gentleman in a spot of trouble, they had been in a car accident and were badly injured. I offered to drive them to the hospital, on the way I was talking to these men who explained they were members of the UNMC, Uniformed Non-Conformist Military Corps. I liked what I was hearing. I sent in my application. It wasn't long before I was accepted and began training. I spent my days guarding the north eastern sector and performing duties to prevent crime in our areas of interest. It was like I had come home, with great people to work with and a military way of life, everything was looking good. It was then in late 2017 I made a foolish decision that resulted in my deportation. In this time, I learned the error of my ways and managed to get myself a new visa for re-entry to Altis. I returned to find that everything had changed. The UNMC were gone, Even so I had to make the best of this situation so i resorted to doing what I'd always done and going from job to job.

This brings us up to now, Everyday I'm reminded of how far I've come and the things I've seen. Chernarus faded into a near non-existence, Takistan has started to grow again under a whole new government. despite all the time i spent in these other countries, I have never felt more at home here on Altis.

Yours truly
