We encountered the gentleman in question less than half an hour before the restart. After a bit of roleplay, we decided to take mister JD hostage in order to have a fun roleplay scenario. I was a bit tangled up rping with some police, and my friend was elsewhere with JD providing him roleplay whilst waiting. After a while of that - JD thought it would be suitable to combatlog by simply shutting his game. My friend (Sgt Steve) will be able to provide this recording if requested.

Now, We asked JD to yknow, come talk to us about it, or come finish the situation up. We recieved absolutely no response. Then we saw him running out of kavala - So we decided to settle things properly to slip him some //'s asking why he's doing that etc. Now very unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to do so - as mr JD once more took it to his trusty taskmanager to close his game.

Hello @Roberts . I sadly enough don't have any evidence of me trying to liase after this particular situation - As mentioned, he previously combatlogged.  All efforts we made to contact him were quite frankly ignored, so we don't have much of an idea of his attitude besides what has already been shown. Given that he was willing to combatlog twice, we did not bother to attempt to solve it a second time. I sent him a few messages regarding the original situation.

Thanks for the further evidence, this is all I need to action this report.

His attitude is appaling, talking while knocked out, two counts of combat logging and clearly no intention to RP with you.

For this he will be receiving a ban for combat logging.

Action Taken: Banned for 2.5

Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue.
