PURGE 2020
As per popular request, the annual purge will return to the island. With all sorts of prizes to be won and an opportunity to unleash hell upon all others without any consequences, perhaps its time you started to prepare...
WHEN?
The Purge will take place on the 26th of June from the 8 PM restart
WHERE?
The details of the exact area that this will take place will be provided on the day. Join the Purge Lounge (Towards the top of Teamspeak) at 7:40 for the briefing
RULES / IMPORTANT POINTS
- ONLY Pistols, SMG's & Shotguns may be used.
- Once you have entered the designated purge "zone", you may be shot (even if you decide to flee)
- Players whitelisted as police are welcome to attend but should do so in civilian slots
- Players in Police slots are not permitted in or near the purge zone
- NHS are welcome to attend the event but may not carry any weapon of any kind
- The RDM & NLR Rules are NOT in effect for the duration of the event (though are only exempt inside of the purge zone)
- Air vehicles are not permitted in or near the Purge area.
- MRAPS are not permitted inside of the Purge area.
- NHS CAN be killed should you wish to do so (however may be a poor decision as they may be a vital asset to you)
- NHS should not show bias to any individuals/groups, they remain a government faction, there to help all.
- Vehicles with mounted weapons are not permitted in or around the purge area
- Underbarrel shotguns are not permitted. (Only the Kozlice and the sawn off Kozlice)
THE EVENT
When the event starts at 8:00, a priority zone will be announced, all alive players inside of the provided priority zone at 8:30 will receive an equal share of £5,000,000 and the unique "Purge Anarchist" Teamspeak tag, this will repeat every 15 minutes and a further 5 million will be handed out to all players inside of the newly announced priority zone. At 10 PM, no new entry into the purge area will be permitted (those who attempt will be "dealt with"). At this point, its every player for themselves, the last remaining (alive) player will win a £10,000,000 and their very own personal Y-32 Xi'an added to their garage.
EVENT TIMELINE
7:30 - Event preparations start
7:40 - Public briefing held in the "Purge Lounge" to announce the purge area
8:00 - Server restart, the purge begins
8:30 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
8:45 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
9:00 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
9:15 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
9:30 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
9:45 - Cashout (£5,000,000)
10:00 - Zone closure
