A lottery system where a ticket is purchased either from a Los Santos Lottery booth or from a 7eleven and a person receives a random number. Only one ticket can be purchased per character. At the end of the day 00:00 GMT or BST (or after restarts, depending on what you favor), a number is drawn from the pool and a person receives the prize pooled from all the entrants to their bank account along with some notification. Having an app on the phone that shows your ticket number, the winning ticket number, previous lottery draws, and winnings would be a nice addition. 

Not sure what the ticket price should be. Something that wouldn't pay out a game breaking high amount of cash if everyone bought a ticket.

Sounds good. Would'nt it be better instead of the prize being the money of all the tickets pooled in together, just be a set prize say £100,000?

For a daily lottery, I'd say the prize pool should be the money of all the tickets pooled together. There could be a weekly/monthly lottery for a considerable set prize amount? 

 
Ive seen this run to great effect by players within a server previously. It was run using a 3 number payout system. Match 1 number for £1k reward, 2 numbers for £10k and all 3 got you £30k. The guy who sold tickets sold them for like £1k each and people could buy multiples at a time. I have no idea if he ever made a profit but it looked great with a dozen people hovering around him gambling their kids education away! Id like to think that it could combine your idea with this one tbh and have players run it but have a system so tickets could be bought offline as well - maybe its a good thing to go into the casino somehow as its all tied in with gambling? 

 
its a good idea, nothing to stop anyone from doing so now not everything needs mechanics in the server to work
