Computer aid is a charity which takes in old computers and IT equipment and give it to the poor and other counties which don't have a good economic system. On Saturday I gave one of my old PC's to them and I wonder where that will end up and who that will help.

Although they say they wipe the disks etc before use - you should always ensure you wipe your machine fully with a tool like Darik's Boot and Nuke (available on the Ultimate Boot CD) with a multi-pass wipe of the data. Formatting is never enough
