arma 3 settings

So i recently bought a new pc and i wanted to play arma 3 but when i got on i had 37 fps average.

PC SPECS

Gpu - evga gtx 1080 ftw

Cpu - i5-7600k

Ram - 16gb

Motherboard - asus prime z270-p

and arma 3 is on my ssd.

I have tried a lot of settings i tried putting all of them on low and it works it runs on 40-50 fps average but i think i should run a lot better i have tried some videos on youtube but none of them helped.

if anyone knows what might be the problem please let me know.

P.S. I am playing rust,rainbow six siege, the witcher 3, and it runs perfect.

Also if you have g sync on, then you can turn v sync off.

try a solo game in normal arma and see what fps you get. on the training server i used to get fps 60-90 but in kavala with a gtx 1070 its 30-40.... just happens.

37fps constantly? Only in towns? What about in the middle of nowhere?

What about on other servers/game modes?

You might find that with the large amount of scripting and customisation in RPUK, the game does run a little slower than others. For exmaple i would get lower FPS in kavala with people aorund than in the middle of nowhere.

On Exile servers i get full 60+fps because there are less custom objects and edits etc.

Do not use Low settings. Low settings use your CPU rather than GPU.  There are plenty of videos on Youtube and articles you can find on Google to help you with settings. This is the one I use
