Christmas and birthday is 6 days before Christmas so i am looking for some good upgrade options.

I would like to also find a nice headset my current one is help together with tape.

This is my parts and i am not sure what parts i should upgrade first. Any ideas would be amazing.   I am just wondering if i should upgrade graphivs card first processor ETC

100 pound per part would be could for me but if its worth it i can save for a little bit longer.

For Arma gaming, you need a decent graphics card, CPU, SSD, and RAM. You also need to make sure that your motherboard supports the CPU, you've got a PSU that will power everything.

As other people have said, the easiest option is probably to build it from scratch. If building a computer isn't really your thing, then you can get a budget gaming PC that would still be better than your current one, and upgrade from that, from places like PC Specialist (which has the added bonus of being able to partly customise the computer to suit your budget).

Hmmm overall budget. Not too sure mabye 600 700 pounds i think since i can sell my current pc to get a bit more money :) . As i said before if its worth it i can get a bit more money to spend.

 
You can save some money by salvaging parts from you current PC. There are parts I also wouldn't ever sell (such as the hard drive), as data can be recovered even after being formatted. Benefit of that is that you can keep all of your files and just plug the hard drive in to the new computer (though I'd still recommend having an SSD as well, which is what I've done, as the load speeds are phenomenal for the OS and games).

I'll see what I can come up with for you.

Yup that was my plan to sell some of my old parts if i buy new ones to help with the budget. And i have an SSD and a hard drive and i also already have a windows 10 on USB so i dont need to buy that separately and thanks for you help with finding a new PC as i have very minimal knowledge in PC parts and things like that.

The unique URL to re configure seems to not work. And thanks for the help i will have a look at what bits i dont need as i already have a few things on that list.

 
The url thing is weird. That's meant to be the "share on forums" option, but hey ho!

Basically I went on Desktop PCs > Gaming PCs, and then customised the £600 one. It is cheaper if you build it yourself, but if you're not confident in doing that then this is a real good alternative.

Where is a good place to buy the parts individually as i would like to build it but i am not sure where to get them in good condition but cheaper

 
Google is your friend. There are all sorts of computer part/electronic shops online that have brilliant bargains.

PC Specialist is very helpful in that it will tell you if all your parts go together (including power), so use it a baseline but see what else you can get. You want to buy the best you can, as it means you won't have to replace it anytime soon. If you're just buying the parts individually, you'll always save money compared to somewhere that puts it together for you (like PC Specialist), so you'll likely find that you can upgrade.

Top tips:

  • Avoid buying secondhand - especially when it comes to GPUs - as you don't know what the person before has done with it. Data-mining, for example, can badly damage a GPU if done for long periods of time/isn't maintained properly. Non-electronic parts (such as the case) are fine to get on the cheap, however, as they don't really affect your computer.
  • Research before you buy. If you find a part you really like, shop around before you buy, and remember that just because it says that it is something doesn't make it exactly the same as all the other variations out there. Nvidia don't make the graphics cards: they only design them, and then other companies build them and put their own twist on it (for example, by adding more fans or lights). What do the reviews say about it? Is there a newer version out? Does anywhere else sell it cheaper? Again, Google is your friend for this.
  • Don't forget the cables! Most parts don't come with cables, so you'll need to make sure you get some.

    Make sure they fit the parts you have.
  • All cables of a standard (e.g. HDMI) do the same job. Don't spend a fortune on "super fast gold plated" crap that doesn't make any difference.
