RPUK PURGE 2025

Nah -1 there so so much more you could do other than a purge, for me it's just a lazy event with no real thought or effort, and it's been the last few years so let's go for something different this time

I think my first Halloween here father Augustus ran a squid games event, why not aim for fun things like this again, not just turn the server into tdm frag mode 🫤

Firstly calling it a lazy event with no thought or effort is pretty insulting to the devs.

They put a lot of work in for that purge as it was more than just free guns and a server roll back. A lot of development went into the purge.

Secondly whether people like it or not a large proportion of the server enjoys gunfights so allowing 1 day a year to be dedicated isn’t much of a issue.

A event like the Squid game can be run though roleplay any time. If you want to discuss with staff and set this up I’m sure they are more than happy to accommodate. But to say you need one or the other isn’t a great idea. People like and want the purge, people might also want a squid game event so why can’t we have both?

I apologise if it comes off as offensive it's not supposed to be but this is a RP server so why not have something rp based and interesting, the buildup to last year was fun with the whole water contamination thing and that but to then just have it switch over to everyone go free for all murder spree that we all forget about doesn't really come across as something fun for the server

It’s literally 1 night out of all the other 365 nights in the server, let people have their fun you boring bastard

Also to add, there are many factions/groups that host events to do with Halloween/Christmas, so there’s still plenty of options to go at. Personally last years purge was so funny, from the jumpscares, people making teams, people defending parts of the map, people looting crates and fighting different people that are teaming, it was a good laugh.

i think the purge is good fun for everyone as someone who is on NHS most the time its good fun to be able to cause a bit of chaos with friends

We all know NHS was loving the combat reviving with no medical RP and being protected by the SAS🤣

i was police last year so didn't really play from NHS POV but this past year ive been NHS main so would be good fun :)

I played the crim side of it and it was so funny, from start to finish. They definitely need to do it again but add a few more rules when it comes to teaming and alliances with people!
 
the only thing i would ask of the Staff/Devs is quicker times in pillbox last time its like 10 mins to be revived and then had people waiting to get checked in
