In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.: Hello RPUK staff it’s been a decently long time since i have last played on the server, i’m here to appeal about how i’ve been banned for Ban evading, currently i have 2 bans which are for ban evading and this is because i evaded my bans C2.2 and G2.9 a really long time ago, recently i talked to staff about having a clean slate within a ticket and also coming forward to ban evading which i am doing now as my character Darren Bill was starting to join Whitelisted gangs and i did not want the feeling of cheating my way inside the server as i felt guilty and it always felt like i could be banned at any point if staff caught on, i didn’t want to risk that so i opened a ticket in which staff told me that instead i could appeal for the ban i evaded which was C2.2 and G2.9 that will be explained below. I have the read the rules many times but when i first started the server i did not and i regret it to this day as it would’ve kept me from having many wholesome rp experiences and i should of read the rules thoroughly from the beginning to stop the ban of C2.2 and G2.9 .


(C2.2) Exploiting - Using or attempting to use any exploits in any of our community game servers such as but not limited to duplication of items or money, transferring/processing items through walls and windows or bypassing intended animations. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not get abused in the future.


The rule C2.2 is in order to maintain a serious role play throughout the server and making sure that everything is fair for all players and no one has anything they shouldn’t of received, mainly the reason is to keep the server a serious fair place for people that are new. The reason this is one of the bans placed on me is because the way of transferring the money was on exploit, placing the money in a box and picking it up on a different character. This was a very bad idea and i didn’t realise how stupid it was.


(G2.9) Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method.

The ban G2.9 is in place because you can’t actually transfer money between different characters so that people do not abuse the starting money you have and take advantage by transferring it all onto one character and making it easier for themselves, this is also mainly set so people can have a equal start to the server in their new character (or first character), rules like this also keep characters separated if the character is developed for example if one of your characters are miners and have good level of mining then transferring the ores and smelted materials onto a different character would make it unfair as it is not the character the ores that are being transferred onto that had the level.

Why should we unban you ?: I believe you should unban me because even though i was sadly ban evading i was doing my best to provide quality role play while being in the server, i even got to become a whitelisted gang (Grove Street) hangabout and i was always a good person to be around i would always act my wounds and display my emotions throughout the server and display my character Darren Bill how it was meant to be, i’m really sorry staff for ban evading i am i hope you guys do give me another chance back into the server.

I do appreciate the effort put into this appeal. You have explained the rules (C2.2 & G2.9) in your own words and explained why they're in place.
What you've not done is explain how and why you broke them, please could you do this? 

 
Goodmorning Danoo thank you for reading my appeal, i hope your all good aswell, the reason why i broke these rules was when i first joined the city i thought that i could be smart and send money to my friend and my friend would of sent it to me (if i’m not wrong this is what happened because it was a decently long time ago) whereas i was very wrong and i shouldn’t of done this at all because it’s a form of exploiting but since i was new to the city i didn’t think anything like this would of happened as i didn’t read thoroughly between the rules, to be honest i don’t wanna lie and that’s the only reason i broke the rules.

The reason i chose not to read the rules before playing on this occasion was because i never knew how serious it would become and how much fun it would actaully be as it was my first ever server played so i never had thought it would be as serious as it actually was, I wont lie, id rather tell the truth as im making this appeal to do the same (tell the truth and put the past behind) my intentions were to just joke about and have some passive fun, i never intended on playing the server for long periods of time which i did after getting used to it and adapting and realising it was really fun. However now i am not in the same mindset, i want to roleplay with people and enjoy my time on the server which means now i am wanting to stick around and enjoy my time in rpuk.

So you hadn't properly read the rules, having no knowledge of how serious they are taken.
I appreciate you being honest about your intentions here to begin with, obviously you had taken it upon yourself to gain an advantage almost instantly too resulting in this ban...

What are you intentions currently?
 
No worries Danoo, and yes your not wrong i did the exploits to gain a money advantage in the past yes, and i did not know how serious they were at the time but of course i do now. My intentions currently are if you unban me, to read over the rules many many times again, and then make a new character and hopefully roleplay a new life. I really do love the server and i’ve always been willing to spend a lot of time in the roleplay.co.uk community making new friends all around, I can also guarantee you i will make sure i won’t be back in this appeal section ever again as i will always be obeying the rules set in order.

Why did you have so many other steam accounts to begin with?
 
Did you ever connect here with said accounts?

So just to confirm, you've only ever attempted to ban evade here with 2 different accounts (The ones linked above)?
No others were involved?

If I personally had attempted to ban evade, I would for sure know how many times I attempted it and on what accounts.
I recall every punishment I've ever been handed out within communities such as this.

These weren't the only two accounts.
