Please (in detail) describe the incident: Around 00:40 and 01:00 last night, I was driving around the city looking for a black sultan as it had recently robbed some friends of mine at the smelter. While outside PDM I ran into an RS6 containing 3 members of the reported group. I thought they were an unmarked car which is why I stopped at the lights and watched them. I headed towards TireNutz and while stopped I saw a sultan flying up towards TBT. I went to try cut them off and get a better look at the car when I went past the same RS6 at the side of the road. I stopped again a bit further up the road and the sultan I was following came past to which I realised they were people I knew, not who I was after. I stayed at the intersection for a bit longer when the RS6 began reversing towards me.

They then began to hit into my car saying "You've just hit my car" and "I'm gonna need your insurance". Then the sultan returns and gets hit into as well. I go up to the RS6 and ask what they're doing to which one responds "sorry mate my first gear isn't working". To me this is clear baiting (G1.3 Baiting - Taking deliberate actions to create a scenario where you get chased or engaged with) as they were obviously trying to solicit a reaction out of me and the other car by hitting into my car and without this we would have been unlikely to interact.

After this the RS6 and sultan talk, the Audi drives off and the sultan speaks to me. They then return and ask what group the sultan was along with being generally hostile saying "you better relax", "I wasn't saying nothing, relax yourself" and "Pipe down buddy". They then drive off again and I go to get fuel thinking the situation is over. They return to the sultan and talk. I follow them back as I was worried something would kick off and I wanted to help my friends if needed. I couldn't hear what was being said but in discord the ones in the sultan told me that both groups were shit talking which got escalated. A chase started and I followed from a distance to make sure my friends were okay.

I heard gun fire towards the Marina and saw a Rebla that I thought was part of another group there. I moved towards the marina and see both the Audi and Rebla leave. As I'm heading into the Marina, they spot me and come back towards me saying "Have you got a problem as well" and "Your the one that fucking instigated it" to which one hops out the Rebla, pulls a gun, I drive off and he mag dumps me. I believe this to be RDM (G1.2 RDM - Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM) as no high quality roleplay was provided through out the entire situation and no warnings / threats / commands were made to me before spraying at me. I would have expected a car chase and to be robbed but not to just be gunned down. The situation continued with a car chase to city hall where I was handsed after calling for help over radio, resulting in one other cypress member being downed and taken.

I would like to know how they believe I started that situation as I'm struggling to understand their view on this.

The main person I am reporting is the one from the Rebla who shot at me (unsure which ID)
The person who they grabbed at city hall told me OOC that Eric, JP, Baz & Andrew were all named. I think the quality of RP here is shocking, especially (if I am correct) at least one person involved is a member of the Lost and therefore should be expected to provide a high level of RP consistently.
I believe all those involved where simply out looking for a gun fight rather than RP and have the mindset of a fragger that seems to be more and more common in the server.

I was on a radio with the people named, I was at azteca turf changing guns hence why I wasn't at the original scene. I came late in the rebla as stated because I heard calls on radio that they were being shot at marina, I came and was told that the white itali was also involved, again I wasn't at the original issue that started all of this I only got involved at marina after shots were already fired, after being told you was involved as well, I pulled out my assault in an attempt to get you out of the car but seeing as you pulled off as soon as you saw the gun pulled ur right I mag dumped the car. You placed yourself into a situation knowing exactly what would happen so lets not play stupid. I had little to go off other than the boys screaming they were being shot again, I was never at balla turf where it all started, I was told you were also involved and that unfortunately is what I had to go off.

Hello Adam, i enjoyed the conversation we had OOC after the situation...

First of all, at the start of the clip you see me crash into by reversing, wasnt 'baiting' wasnt trying to have a gun fight at all.
Everything started to get heated when the Grey Sultan turns up questioning us on who we were, 5 minutes prior to this me and the boys saw them running down an alley way and hide in a bush, 2 of the people i was with get out of the car and run up to them messing around trying to 'Section 12' them or something like that i cant remember, we was having a laugh about with them, at least we thought that anyway...

Anyway moving on we had a conversation with the people driving the Sultan, they was claiming the person in the Itali had told them that we are 'dodgy' not understanding what they was trying to get at, we then moved on where i said 'tell your boy in the Itali hes a melt for instigating everything' they ask me to repeat what i said to which i did and whoever it was on foot started shooting us ?
One word being 'melt' is enough for them to start shooting us ? ok.

Now i want to point out the fact, that this all started over you Adam, your feeding these guys info who are then coming to us saying X.Y.Z yet through out the entire thing your claiming you got nothing to do with the situation, yet your following us everywhere we move from the moment we start getting shot at.

As the situation goes on more cars turn up around city hall, we dont know who they are, at the time didnt even know you was cypress, we just thought it was some new grey gang thats recently come together and it was same group attacking us, turns out its cypress after watching through your clips.

One question i want to ask though is, to whoever it was that was downed i believe its Tim after listening to the clips, did Tim survive this whole situation after he was with us for a little while during the whole police chase etc.

Hi Baz, thank you for the quick response and being open that you were the one who shot me.

While I can kind of understand you point of view here, there are still a couple things about your response that concern me

Firstly, You admit you were not at the initial situation and that you didn't have much information when joining in later. It's on you to make sure you have the relevant information before rushing in and opening fire. As you can see in the evidence provided, I had not fired a shot and kept my distance from the Audi for most of the situation and hence wasn't expecting to be shot at. I was merely trying to understand who you were and if my friend was okay

Secondly, I can understand why you were being cautious given that you were under the assumption that I had fired upon your friends. However, surely if I had been shooting at you then would I really let the Audi come along side me or would I have either kept shooting or ran off before you caught up?

Finally, You saying I put myself in that situation knowing what would happen is not true. The entire situation, I am keeping my distance from your group but I wasn't going to abandon my friends in case something went down. Clearly something did go down and even still I kept my distance from yous as my only goal was to help get my friends out, not take a fight with you. When the two cars came along side me, it didn't surprise me that you tried to get me out the car. I still haven't even pulled out my gun so it did surprise me that you immediately went to shoot instead of going for a car chase or some other RP route which would have likely been far more enjoyable for both parties.

Hello Ian, Thank you for responding and for showing those clips

If your intention wasn't to provoke a response from me then why did you do this? Maybe I've misinterpreted your actions but I have had it a number of times during my time in this server that groups of people attempt to initiate a robbery by crashing into me to make me hostile so they have an excuse to pull guns so this what I thought was happening.

I was not aware that you had an interaction with the guys in grey before hand. I had asked them if they knew you and they said no so I assumed it was their first time seeing you. I admit to saying to them that I thought yous were dodgy, weird and strange given what you were doing, wearing and how late it was. I think most people would agree. I also wasn't aware that they told you that I said this, that and the other so I can see why you thought I started everything. I'm not interested in talking about why they shot at you as that was their choice. If you have an issue with what happened there please deal with it else where.

I would hardly say I "[fed] them information". As you can see in my clip all I said to them was that you were dodgy. I don't know why they told you that I said you were questioning me. You were the ones that went back to them after I thought the situation was done. You were the ones that insulted them to their faces. I've seen plenty of people shot by gang members like yourselves for less.

Like I've already said, I was following loosely to try help save my friends. If I was shooting at you, would I have not followed you into the marina with the guy on the BF?

In your second clip you asked me if I still had a problem and I answered "nothing to do with me" as from my point of view, it does have nothing to do with me. I don't know what was said before the shooting. I don't know why they shot at you. I had 0 interest in escalating the conflict further as it would clearly have ended worse for me.

Regarding your last question, you chose to end your RP with Tim after your took him out your car so if you wanna know what happened, find out in RP

I should add that I didn't go to liason with you last night. I'm not sure who you were talking to but I chose not to liase as it was already 2:30am and I wanted to sleep aswell as the fact I believe you were already in QE talking to an officer at the time.

Appreciate the reply mate, Yes I can say that it is on me to make sure I have all the correct information so I will put my hands up high and I hope you can see and respect that a mistake like this after being shot and shooting 30 seconds prior in marina and then hearing you're involved can surely lead to it getting heated so fast and in the manor it did. I can only apologise for the lack of high quality roleplay and not engaging in a car chase which im sure would of been fun for both parties. I am happy to liase with you on my behalf but if not mate that's also fine, if you want to go ahead with the rdm that's all good you can leave it to staff, the rest I wasn't involved in.

I appreciate you admitting you made a mistake here and I can understand the position you were in at the time. I'm good with the outcome and I'm not gonna push this any further, so I'm happy for staff to close this report.
