Unban Appeal - BigNicky - GTA RP

Why do you think you were banned: This is a direct copy & paste of my last appeal as I feel I explained properly what happened in my last appeal. https://www.roleplay.co.uk/threads/unban-appeal-bignicky-gta-rp.424834/

I was banned for passing a combat pistol and 16 bullets through pillbox door whilst it was locked. This occurred after an incident in which a gun fight took place within the pillbox. Pillbox staff had locked the doors and the police were carrying out searches on everybody who was locked inside.
I did this as I did not want to lose these items. I asked my friend to come to the door and told him that I would hand him keys to my car, and asked him to lock it. I then handed him the items. I realised almost immediately that what I had I done broke the exploiting rule, however due to how quickly everything had happened I did not think about this before carrying out this action. I was then in 2 minds about asking for the items back, but did not want to ask my friend to break the same rule that I had just broken so I left it.
I was teleported to the roof shortly after by Dano and Kyle where they asked me to explain what I had just done and why I had done it. After a brief chat I was then permanently banned from the server. Fortunately I was not searched whilst in pillbox however I completely understand how my actions would have effected the roleplay of the situation had I been searched as I had brandished my weapon within the facility before being locked in.
Why should we unban you: Since my last unban at the end of 2023 I have spent a lot of time within the server. I came back into the city with the goal of providing a high level of RP and building relationships with others on the server.
I believe that I have been able to achieve that with very few hiccups. 2 permanent bans within a 12 month period is understandably difficult to justify, and I was gutted when speaking to Dano and Kyle about my actions and the reasoning behind them. I took the ban on the chin and accepted their reasoning for doing so. In my time back in the city I have built valuable relations with many different people partaking in many different areas on roleplay, I believe I have proven myself to be capable of providing valuable roleplay in various scenarios and would love for the opportunity to continue to do so within the RPUK community.

I know you said there wasn't much thought from your side before going ahead and passing a Pistol and bullets through the door but I want to understand the mentality?
You say you almost immediately knew you had done wrong, but, after talking with a bunch of you at separate times you all went with the same story of: "After the first person got spoken to we realised we did wrong".
So we've a little bit of a conflicting statement here.

Why would you pass these items through the door? What was the mentality? Were you just trying to "win" the situation in a sense by not getting caught?
I can only assume if you weren't spoken to by staff, you'd have just attempted to get away with exploiting.

Hi Danoo, I’m very well thank you, I hope you are too.

I did say that I realised almost immediately, I believe in our chat I did mention not wanting to ask my friend to give the items back for the same reason explained in my appeal (it was over a week ago now, my mind may be a bit blurry on that). I did not know that anybody else had handed items through the door until after Billy had been banned.

In the moment I was definitely looking to win. I had been downed in the gun fight and then cuffed half way through being helped by the NHS. (I believe this was put through as a complaint by the NHS staff at the time) so in the moment as soon as I had been uncuffed I radio’d through to my friend to meet me at the door so I could “pass him keys to my car” so that if I was searched I would not have anything illegal on me.
In the time it took from the initial radio, to him getting to the door I should have taken a moment to realise what I was doing but unfortunately I did not.

As to your last point, I can obviously only speak for myself and admit that I would have tried to get away with exploiting had I not been spoken to by yourself and Kyle.

What is your overall purpose on RPUK?
We're a roleplaying community, we're looking for players who can embrace and enjoy any given roleplay scenario. Players with a win/loss mentality are not what we're looking for here as this is definitely not Call of Duty .

Hi Dano,

My purpose within the community has definitely become more serious in the last couple of months. This is due to being quite a high up member within The Rising Suns gang. I have definitely stepped up in terms of roleplay and how I try to present myself within the community and I do genuinely enjoy the losses just as much as the wins. The scenario in question was purely a lapse in judgement and is not something that I have done previously, or will repeat in the future.
