Formerly known as Beach Combover, the building used to be owned and run by Joziff’s uncle Troy a loveable and well know local figure. Since he was a kid Joziff would visit the shop and earn extra pocket money by sweeping up and making coffees and learned how to do shape ups and skin fades before he could even see over the counter. Fast forward a few years and a late night phone call out of the blue revealed his uncle’s health had begun to decline and he would no longer be able to run the business. Joziff, wanting to distance himself from criminal and violent past leapt at the chance to take over the barber shop and put some of his old skills to use and so Killa Kuts was born.
Within the first few weeks of opening Joziff would meet all sorts of interesting characters from law enforcement, undercover police and solicitors to some of the most feared and respected members of the city's dark underworld. Because of the unspoken trust between barber and client Joziff would often be privy to clandestine conversations and dodgy dealings all while remaining silent and impartial. Killa Kuts has started to slowly become a little sanctuary for busy citizens who sometimes forget to take a bit of time for some self care and relaxation.
His uncle mentioned something about a key that would unlock the staff room in the back but so far it hasn't shown up anywhere. It make you wonder what on earth is hiding back there. Business seems to be going well and the tips have been keeping the lights on for now...
