And there you have it, the actual support you get from Members of Staff when you ask a question. "Find out in RP" plenty of business ideas will go out the window because there's no where to "find out in rp" there's so many opportunities that could arise from working with players listening to suggestions and helping with players but what do you get?

This could also be said for houses, people come in pay their taxes then log out until next tax day. How many houses do you think are owned by people that arent active but only come in and pay tax just to keep their house? Or even are other peoples characters who own houses/businesses that they dont bother with but keep their hands on? Wait let me guess... Find out in RP

With respect Scott. You drawing these lines currently saying we refuse another mechanic shop to let staff have other oppertunities? Are you even reading what you are saying yourself?

If you actually think we go out of our way to ruin peoples experiences by securing slots for staff, you actually need step on the breaks for abit. Cause that is such a wild way of thinking..

No, thats the CoC’s problem.
The Houses is an automated system.

I mean there is other people that put applications into the buissness when applying but staff have seemed to be choosen over them, my situation is what it is, you dont want more than ttwo garages even though one only open. the staff owning shop nothing to do with me .

I have reread and i worded it wrong. i was just explaining that i dont see anything wrong with garage in the middle of map.

However seems staff getting choosen over civillians seems a thing

with all the greatest respect Martin, all shop info i possess, that's locked behind CoC, is staff information, if i go out and about and tell everyone about that i risk being removed from staff.

so as much as "find out in RP" is annoying, it's the only way you'll get the figures on those questions

Scott, please.

there has been, in my duration of CoCing(which is the entire time CoC has existed) been 1 singular staff person(that i can remember) chosen for a shop sold by CoC, i would heavily advise that if you don't know the concrete facts on certain points, you just don't create something up about it.

other sales where a staff member has been involved has been between 2 players
 
I do just want to point out as well, this is a suggestions post on a suggestions thread. These are YOUR players making suggestions on how we believe will improve roleplay experiences agree or disagree that's your decision. But the main take away from this thread is that there are grievances and problems people have with the transparency and the way people are getting turned away for just trying to be a recognised business within the city, whilst we are actively getting told this staff member owns this business, that staff owner owns this business. Also getting told that one faction gets their business taken off them for being run by a gang whilst another owns 10+. This is genuinely the fault with "find out in RP" this is information we are being given IN RP. Obviously people are going to be pissed off when the gist of the information being given is that Members of Staff have the monopoly of the recognised businesses. Then when those concerns are aired in the forums members of staff are heavily denying they have any involvement, can you understand where the frustrations come from when people ASK for clarification on things and get told "find out in RP"

it's been stated, multiple times that staff are in the lower majority of shop owners.
if you're going on rumours ingame, with no proof to back that up, that's more on you than I

sure, but then you must also understand staff have rules about the info they can give, and 98% of CoC info can't just be given out.

even police only know(from us) about 2-3 shop owners, that's how limited information from us is
 
Off the top of my head there is a few staff operated or owned ones but if those I think 4 maybe 5 places

2 are lost owned but tied into their history so they would be owned by Charles but are property of the club he just happens to be the head of the club and if say jack became head he would take ownership

Ls air has to be staff owned for obvious reasons

Masons shop he got before he became staff

That leaves 91 player owned shops

Oh maybe last train but that's the same as the lost with it being padrino and I imagine ram was not staff when it was purchased

I think around page 2 we lost track of the suggestion and went into argument/discussion mode.

I cannot dev based on "make civ life more interesting" - come to us with ideas, this is a suggestion thread, so lets work on them.


- how do you invision that building job?
- heists? tell me more about them
- "character driven jobs" perfect, tell me more!

No I believe it's shared responsibility. If you expect us to "find out in RP" and this is the information we are finding out in RP how can you reasonably get pissed off with people questioning members of staff when there is ZERO transparency with regards to that? It's YOUR responsibility to answer to the many isn't it?

"if you're going on rumours ingame, with no proof to back that up, that's more on you than I" but if members of staff "cannot" prove otherwise then where's the compromise? As you say CoC, members of staff, admins, dev's cannot freely go around giving everything away I understand that.

Thing is people talk and people discuss things about how something they was involved in went down when owning the business or wanting to own it. it may not true or it maybe true but from CoC Point of view everything is not true. even though people involved in them situations are speaking. otherwise why would there be so many comments about people pushing for stuff and then soon as sold. they get it because either friend with staff or staff.

I still don't understand how Tirenutz went from where they was to a brand new building but Flywheels does not get upgrades anything when they have been doing RP and Stavik even said

It's all you can do like we have no need for a new MLO you can fix two vehicles in the shop we've got and like ae and Bennys you can add a sport outside for trucks.

The issue is right now they do not want more than two garages, we've just got to keep going hoping they change mind

Burger shot she has been running the place for years and is basically the rightfully owner

Bahma mama pretty much must have made a amazing application or interview

Last train ram probably had it before staff as it's been his for like 5 years

Hardwick is same as beekers and custom it's a organisation run business that just so happens to be staff run also all firm members have perma death contracts so I would call it deserved

Luxury, was most likely bought years ago before CoC had input on who owns them, as in years ago when you sold it from the management computer

To be fair you should be happy you have what you have Scott if the coc weren't involved like they are people would still sell places for 60mil because they want the money and don't care if the guy with 4m wants to to it because someone else offered 60


Also to add to the tirenutz that's likely because gabz released a Benny's mlo and rpuk are subbed to his packs so it diden't cost anything extra to add it just Dev time someone decided to dedicate for free to do something nice after AE also had a massive mlo upgrade
