Residential Burglary

+1 great idea. Would love to be a career burglar. Maybe you need to carry a small 'kit' on you in order to break into the houses (lockpicks, adv lockpicks, screwdriver, crowbar etc) could make for some fun RP if you get stopped and searched. Some houses only need a crowbar others might need more tools to open etc. Would be cool to have an NPC 'fence' you have to sell your stolen good to. Maye you get paid in wads of cash to make it high risk, high reward.
 
It would be cool to see something like this added to RPUK

Have items such as watches, chains, rings , art work ? and sell to a pawnshop that changes location everyday or restart like a dodgy doctor !

could even have a new skill added that makes it easier for you to find items in the house etc! there is a lot of potential with this idea and lots of RP to go along!

I'd even be up for it being player houses. But to make it fair, could scramble the house inventory; so that the player doesn't lose their items.

My judge has a banging house thanks to @Astrid Belski and I think it'd be cool for cops and crims alike to have to go through it because it's been burgled.
 
+ 1 but I reckon the findings in the house could be much more than 10 minutes worth of panning. The reason for this is the risk you take breaking into a house and almost certain that a cop will show up just to search for a couple of wads of cash / or materials etc wouldn't be worth the risk in my opinion yes. 100% fun! But personally think the risk factor would outweigh the rewards.
 
If this does get added I’d love to see different tier houses. Lower tier you can just rob with a screwdriver/crowbar higher tier you gotta break into life invader to get some software so you can turn off the burglary alarm in the house.

somewhat related, but unrelated to quoted bit

allow for multiple exits/entrances(even if they're somewhat persistent) if possible, so cops just can't camp the front door waiting for you to leave

Agree mate, I thought the same with risk and then more than likely a few cops will be outside and you're caught every time
