Why do you think you were banned: From reading the previous ticket on discord (which I was unaware I could do until SCOTT mentioned in my other appeal today) Please take into consideration, this is based on the ticket I opened, my previous appeals and my bad memory as this was just short of 2 year ago.

My ban came from combat logging and bad mouthing the server out of frustration due to a number of factors at that specific time. This came from a kidnapping of myself and another officer where I was ultimately dumped of a bridge and somehow survived the fall, after they humiliated me in game. I have then walked for around 30 minutes to a road where I was again ridiculed and then ran over by someone before being transported to hospital. whilst I was stripped of everything in the hospital, I saw the 3 suspects in which I asked the security to detain them for me, but he did not due to me not having at the time any identification.

From all of this, and the other factors from IRL where I was late off as I had work the next morning but carried on with the scene due to me not wanting to break RP and all the other combining factors of the situation and IRL I let my frustrations get the better of me and left in a dramatic manner, of which I do apologies.

I understand that in hindsight, there is many other ways that I could have dealt with the situation like using OOC / making a ticket Etc all of which I stupidly did not utilise at the time, I am unsure as to why these outcomes did not cross my mind, however this was 2 years ago and I can not comment on that as I simply do not know, this could have been tiredness, tunnel vision, anything really. However all of this is a learning curve and the behaviour in which I acted on that night was unacceptable, although this is not an excuse, that time in my life was highly stressful with university, work and my voluntary work which I prioritised, as that has now led me to work my dream job which I now do full time at that time I had very little free time do enjoy but when I did, I enjoyed playing RPUK.
Why should we unban you: I believe I have learnt from my mistake and will not allow myself to drop to such low standards again, since this ban, my life has changed very dramatically and I have since very much matured as a person, with many factors playing parts in that, like completing a degree which lifted so much stress, moving across the country and starting a job I now love and adore. Since being banned from UKRP I have not really looked at Five M and not really settled anywhere that I enjoyed as much as I did on this server. Five M has been on the way back of my mind and I don't believe I have touched it in a very long time until the other day when my friend who has recently joined UKRP and telling me about how much fun he is having on the server.

This pained me as this made me remember the times I had on the server and the development of characters I had at the time, from a full financial business in city with a full backstory, funding which I grinded myself as well as being a lawyer and my other character in which joined the PD and had just being granted independent patrol and was due to get a taser. all of this took time and effort and in one childish stupid act at the hight of my stress, i threw it away.

I would be grateful if you could take all this into consideration and allow me a second chance in order to help me grow and develop a new character in as much depth on the server in as much effort as I did previously (Although I may not be remembered by anyone lmao) and selfishly, allow me to be able to play with my friends who now just keep teasing me with there enjoyment on the server.

I'm glad to see you've managed to have success in life, especially with that dream job! I appreciate the level of effort and detail given this was quite a long time ago.

I take it you no longer think that RPUK is a "stupid server shitty server"?
In the ticket, when you were informed of what would happen, you said "coolio" and "adios" and then, I gather, you left the Discord server immediately thereafter. Is this a mature way for someone to behave in the circumstances?
Hindsight is a brilliant thing, so, from the best of your recollection, if you could have a "do over", what would you change about your actions that led to your ban? How would you approach it if it happened to you now?

Hi, in response to the above comment - I never felt like the server was 'Shitty' or 'stupid' it was just an outburst at the specific time, clearly the 'COOLIO ADIOS' part is again childish, but from memory i didnt leave straight away and stayed for quite some time, unsure as to how long though, you may have to check on discord if you can.

Obviously, Hindsight as mentioned is a wonderful thing, and i would of course do things differently, like making people aware in OOC that i cant do specific actions due to time etc or with the same but saying i have to fly out. Plus the recommendations from previous appeals like maybe open a ticket, essentially just allowing other people to know, as IRL comes first.

In regards to the previous appeal, No that was chat GPT, I can not remember or comment the reason as to why I did that and thought it would work, in this case it was plane stupidity. all I want to do is play on the server and wish I never got banned in the first place, i hope this clears some things up, please let me know if you have any more questions

As everyone does in life people learn from lessons big or small, in this instance and in general I am far more mature then I was when I was at university, during the time I was banned from RPUK. so overall steps have been done in general, I have learnt a whole load of lessons, especially with my job role, I see a side to life that nobody should have to endure, through that I see how minor things are and how peoples lives can change in an instant, through this I have learnt to be patient and empathetic as well as many other skills that help me with my everyday life outside of work, like playing video games and in this instance RPing and trying to uphold them professional standards, from this the type of behaviour I showed which lead to my ban on RPUK is well and far behind me. ultimately, life is short and this is a place where people go to relax and break from the real world, as I do almost everyday, like myself I enjoy a variety of games and as such people like minded come to RPUK for a healthy, professional environment where they enjoy their free time. unfortunately I broke those standards on that evening, and would have ruined other people experiences, I know that most people come to these servers to enjoy playing and don't / shouldn't deliberately target anyone, this will not happen again as I do now see the bigger picture compared to when I was young and naive. From this, There is no way you can know this is genuine as we do not know each other IRL and you can not see who and what I am like as a person, but if i was not genuine at wanting to come back to RPuk and get back into Five M, I would have not even bothered to open a new appeal after I have been banned for so long and then put so much effort into the details as to why and answering all the questions you ask.


The specific rule I broke was Combat logging, At the time of writing this, I can not specifically quote from the Rules page on Wikki as this comes up with an 'Error' and saying 'You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.'. (I HAVE OPENED A TICKET ON DISCORD) However I know this rule is in place due to many reasons like many other rules and that is to help provide, support and maintain a professional, enjoyable environment, this rule specifically means its an offence for people to leaving during an active RP situation whether that's a normal interaction, fight or conflict, and is done so, so the person does not face the consequences of losing said interaction, fight or conflict. having this rule in place allows for scenarios to be able to carried out in a professional manner and does not let people avoid what has happened to them or others in the scenario as they try to leave without warning.

Logging out at any point during RP or whilst incapacitated is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during any form of combat, while being chased by the police, arrested by the police, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them via OOC means first for example; Discord - GTA-FiveM-Roleplay or a relevant faction ie police/NHS public chat alternatively you can open a FiveM Ticket to inform staff).
