Would love to see the implementation of trailers for mechanic work, would add a lot more RP being able to transport people “out of a dangerous area” before repairing their vehicle and also allow mechanics to delivery a more personalised (sole trader) type business. Could make trailers more expensive and only available at a higher mechanic level so something to work towards.

Would be a vehicle that can store separately in a garage and attach to vehicles which have a tow bar mod. No VI space for the trailer, just added as a vehicle config to see attach/detach option.

Am I wrong in thinking that the flatbed truck already does what you're explaining? Or am I not understanding your point, because with the flatbed, you can put their car on the back and let them sit in the passenger seat when moving their car to a safe place.
 
It does do what already explaining, it’s more to a point of being able to have a different variety of vehicles to use. For example me and my mates could all buy reblers and trailers for the reblers and run and off the books towing company. Trailers could be very expensive but would allow individuals to use different vehicles to tow them or move their own cars without using the (sorry to say) ugly basic trucks.
