Improve mechanics for decorating houses

Being a part of Studio 4 Interior Design, I've been on the decorating grind lately. I've always found the house decorating mechanics to be so tedious, but now that my characters job is decorating houses, I think it's time to make a suggestion. I think with me, there's a bunch of people that enjoy decorating (everyone from Studio 4 Interior Design especially), but find the mechaincs too hard/it takes too long to take the time to make something nice.

I would like to suggest a way to type a number to set the degree you want the item to be on, instead of left- and right clicking for 10 minutes per item.
It would also be nice to be able to rotate an item up and down, instead of ony left and right. (but the first suggestion is probaly the one that is wanted the most)

Also maybe a way of seeing what items you have when you are at the store. I found myself going back and fourth so many times it was quite annoying.

Definitely agree! And a bigger or different pop-up when you run out of money, as it looks the same as the "item bought" pop-up. It's happened so many times that I think I'm buying stuff, but I'm actually out of money and when you then put money in your pockets, you don't know what you did or didn't buy

As one half of the ownership of Studio 4

I say +1

The entire housing need a rework imo. The props, the decorating UI, the size of the grid for furniture placement in some houses (2 bed penthouse won't let you place some furniture INSIDE because it thinks it's outside, like what??) and I think the biggest one would be to allow key holders to buy furniture and either

A: get a pop up to confirm which house you're buying said furniture for and you pay for it.

Or

B: same again but it charges the OWNER instead. - this can obviously be abused I know, but it makes sense and makes people think twice about who gets keys.

tbf that cen be somewhat negated by adding a "sell" option to furniture up at ikea
Oh now I like that! Often we get clients to order in what we think we need, 9/10 we under order but sometimes we do over order and then feel bad that the client is sat on like 50 extra storage cabinets 🫣

While we are here, can we have an option to select a quantity you want to buy at the furniture shop…?
You all have no idea how long @Astrid Belski had me standing there buying 100 of this, 50 of that… 🤣
