I’ve had more comebacks than Shawn Michaels at this point — and every time I swear it’s the last, something drags me back.
Where’ve I been? That’s a longer story than I care to spill in a public. Let’s just say I had to step out of the city for reasons that ain’t exactly tourist-friendly. Loose ends, debts, promises — things that don’t belong in daylight. Sometimes you don’t get to choose when it’s time to disappear, you just go.
But here’s the thing about this city: it never forgets you. Even when you try to ghost it, there’s always somebody with your name in their mouth, always a street corner or a face that reminds you where you belong. And eventually, no matter how far you run, it drags you back in.
So yeah, I’m back. Don’t ask me how long for — just know I’ve got business to handle, and if you cross my path, you’ll know soon enough.
