People Who Cheat Should Get a Second Chance

I think cheating should be appealable, only because someone cheated once doesn't mean he is gonna do it again. There should be some leniency. As it is a heavy mistake for sure, and should carry a permanent ban. It still should be appealable in some way. People who were frustrated that so many cheaters were in the server, started cheating themselves, and might regret it.
Cheaters still should be watched and if they ever do anything similar they should just straight be banned again
But unbanning a cheater should be possible if he ever shows remorse and regret and is not likely to do it again

playing on RPUK is a privilege granted to players who abide by the rules and guidelines the staff/management team lay out. there is an element of trust that players (and staff) abide by these guidelines - and cheating is the biggest way to completely break that trust. once that bridge is burnt - you should be out the airlock for good!

Because people have mindsets which are like 'damn bro you cheated get away with you' while the only proof THEY CLAIM to have is PROBABLY and most likely clips. People drive around with 300 MPH on a bike and mass kill people sometimes. Definitely not an anti cheat.

no not really you got to think on people putting the grind doing whatever in rp and dying to some cheater that hasn't been banned which happens more than you think and then they decided to cheat which I understand is wrong but you got to understand the frustration they will have dying to cheaters when just doing all the grinding for nothing

Why should we entertain unbanning somebody for cheating to gain an advantage on a serious roleplay server?

The fact they thought to cheat on a roleplay server in the first place is stupid enough, to unban a cheater to as Bonzi said "babysit" them is not the right move to go about it.
 
someone who messes up and breaks a simple rule like RDM/NLR when they dont understand how RP works sure maybe they can come back and be better

someone who cheats and makes the game unfair for others because they are a sad fucker, Fuck No never, not in 1 million years, unless your aim is to make everyone leave :unsure:

Yeah, no... I'm all for giving some people a second chance, people make mistakes... Cheating isn't a mistake, it's a choice that the cheater makes every time they use cheats.

There are two types of cheater on rpuk. Those who come on to cause destruction. Screw those people. And those who try to gain an advantage...and those truly are the saddest. The point of this community is roleplay, if people feel the need to cheat to get ahead, then they are not here for roleplay, and therefore don't get to play here. Simple as that.

We will not be unbanning cheaters.
