Brief Summary: a in game mechanic that allows players to be knocked unconscious
Detailed Suggestion: Like the title suggests the ability to knock someone out, this could be implemented to create alternate combat RP options. currently the only types of combat you see in the server is gunfights, melee weapons or fist fights all with the same out come of being incapacitated, i propose the ability to have a chance through hand to hand combat e.g. fistfights or being struck by a blunt object to knock someone unconscious, this could be a percentage chance of say 20-30% chance through hand to hand combat to be knocked out and slightly higher if struck with a blunt weapon, this could also be implemented through vehicle crashes so for instance if you crash a vehicle at lets say 90+ miles an hour with a seatbelt on you have a 40% chance of becoming unconscious, this could open up some good RP routes instead of what's currently available, whilst unconscious you could either have blurry vision or a black screen to simulate being unconscious this would be a timed mechanic that could range from 15-30 seconds, this is all my opinion and I'm open to discussion from the community to hear there opinions
The Pros: Creates Alternate combat RP routes which could be fun and a good change, also has the ability to make the server that bit more realistic
The Cons: A lot of dev work to implement, opens up to misuse and exploitation potentially creating more work for staff
Does this suggestion change balance on the server ? In my opinion it would change the balance for the better
