It started as a method of getting funding for the specific purpose of getting this new domain (Roleplay.co.uk) since the donations go towards server costs and not the domain.

We don't actively look for investors right now since the purchase was made but if you are looking to invest you would need to seek out a member of management to discuss with.

What does it actually include for such because "investing" to me would be you put a certain amount of money into something to earn more back in future times?

Ah. The people who "invested" as we worded it aren't putting money in for an attempt at return on investment. It was more so for the purposes of supporting the community and pushing the community forward by getting the new domain secured.

Some of the people who became "premium investors" (an amount of £1000) became members of the RPUK board who vote on server decisions but don't specifically have admin power unlike the members of management who are on the board.

Other investors just get a nice shiny blue tag and an investor room on teamspeak.

Ah right so its more of a saying than a meaning which is completely fine of course. I seen tik tak had put over £1000 into this community and it made me think is he getting money back from it because if he was he would be getting a killing ahah.

As for doing it then getting into the board I don't want it for that I'm happy ive put in an application for the member support see how it goes.
