Not sure too much collaboration is a good thing for cpu/gpu market's Interoperability is great, but with only two players in the desktop scene, I would hate to see that number go down :/

This is soooo Important and quite likely considering that the technology is opensource, The worst thing ever would be for G-sync to become the standard ... I can't stand it and really hope it dies a horrible death costing Nvidia plenty of money

I think from reading the article, I am left with the impression both companies are prepared to dip their toes in the water AMD as they need the money, Intel because they don't want to give Nvidia any more power in the computing market or are feeling like they are being strong armed.
