Is it impossible to recover? No tracking devices or anything?

Yeah it did, but it had a problem so the GPS was off and it kept losing signal. I replaced some bits and was testing it, it was OK to start and then it just went full speed up and away, it was doing 18mph at 400ft before it lost signal. It landed itself but not where it told me it landed - so it's gone!

I've been meaning to get a new one anyway! Time for DJI Phantom I think!

Dang rebels must have taken off tracking and radio communication devices.
