If you sit in the waiting for a patrol room then your never going to go on a patrol. The best way to find a patrol is to look at the patrol channels and find one with a space and then join it and ask if you can join. No one looks in the channel they just go on patrol and wait for people to join.

my advice to you my friend is dont wait for people to ask you join channels and ask if you can go along with them
