I am indeed, I took that picture myself a few years ago when the canals were frozen and people were skating. It's still one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. Are you from the Netherlands as well?

Yes but i think if you live in amsterdam you might not like me that much.(Due to football and such ....)  i mostly live in rotterdam! (When i am not at sea) 

It's the enemy! Charge!! I actually live near Alkmaar but don't know much about football (I do know buitenspel!). My family is from the south so all for Roda JC, I only really watch football when our national team plays during like the WK and EK (if they get qualified...)

I have never actually been to Rotterdam but my sister (who lives in Amsterdam) keeps telling me it's a beautiful city. Might go visit this summer, any recommendations of what I should definitely visit?

Yeah you should totally visit places such as the Markthal and all the little streets around it! But the thing what i recommend the most is visiting the actual harbor maasvlakte is a really interesting place to visit! But thats from my own experiences but one tip take the train as Rotterdam centraal is a really beautifull place don't buy anything there as everything is super expensive there believe me i used to work at AH TO GO oh and please dont forget to visit the chinese supermarket on the water and pff if you wanted i could show you around a bit

Those all sound great and yes I have always been curious about the harbor. I think by train indeed will be best as by car is often not as easy.
