PCSO's are not meant to be Patroling by themselves anyway. Normally you would be in a minimum of 2 1 of which is armed.

And to clarify above as well a PCSO can only patrol with a PC or higher. @Mush_ any chance you can PM me the name of the officer and some video evidence please?

Also PCSOs are armed once they pass their FTT.

The PCSO was Jesper G, it was SoE Rocky who stole about 5 cars from him, and he was rolling with a rook. (im sure you could PM Rocky for evidence). But yes, PCSO's get armed after they pass their FTT two days after becoming a PCSO.
