CIV VI is great for just being an absolute despotic lunatic.insurgency is a bit meh tbh. Witcher 3 i just picked up myself played about 4 hours so far and love it.

Squad is great as a lighter, more streamlined version of the simulator arma is meant to be (based on the battlefield 2 project reality mod). I enjoy it.
GTA V's RP scene is through a mod called FiveM if I recall, you don't need a steam copy.
Civs are always great.
Witcher is fun but not really my cup of tea personally, I enjoyed other RPG titles more.
Halo MCC is good value for money imho but the games are pretty much straight ports and so the graphics (and control smoothness) match the quality of when MCC first came out, not present day. However, I do enjoy Halo multiplayer.
For flight sims you can't go wrong with DCS. It's pricy so pick one module you like and go with it. The FC3 aircraft are good for beginners and are the cheapest of the bunch, but if you want to step things up the F/A-18C is a good choice.
