Sure, but the suggestion was still accepted? Maybe it wasn't done exactly the way you wanted it to be, doesn't mean your suggestion was ignored. Had you not made that suggestion then it would've stayed the way it is now, instead Jaffa knows that not everyone was happy about the change and has reduced it. (Without speaking for him) he is most likely trying to find a middleground between the old skylining issues and increasing peoples FPS, give this new one a shot and if you think it needs to be reduced further then make a new suggestion.

The suggestions name was "Toggle Grass" not reduce terrain quality. They just changed the name and did something that wasnt actually being suggested by ji. Toggling is having something on or off. Not in between.

Indeed, I am very well aware that is what happened. But just because that is what was suggested does not mean that is what the dev team HAVE to do. They probably wanted to see if they couldn't try to move in the direction of Ji's suggestion by reducing the terrain grid whilst keeping some of the benefits they saw from upping it (ie, reduced skylining). Because that is what the developers do, they try and cater to as many people as possible. If the new change works and helps with the FPS drop a bit whilst still reducing skylining a bit then we have the best of both worlds, but the only way to know is to have Jaffa try it. Like I said, this doesn't mean that you can't open another suggestion after the fact if you still think it needs to be reduced further.

I could either accept your suggestion in spirit and correct the title to the actual change, or reject the suggestion.

As explained multiple times now, grass and terrain quality are interlinked, they are controlled by the same one variable, in order for grass to go back, the terrain grid quality needs to be reduced.

The quality will be reduced due to reports of FPS issues in another suggestion of yours, therefore your suggestion was to an extent accepted.

Could it not be made so with low detail mode on it is what it used to be (no grass) and with it off it is what it is now?

If you're truly 'done making suggestions' @Ji Mitch, then there is no need to announce this fact via a status update in the hope that it will cause drama, is there?

I thought the point of the new suggestion system was a more democratic view on things, obviously some tweaking is needed but not too a point where the suggestion isn't even the fucking same eg decamp script. No fucking wonder ppl move on to other servers when people are suggesting stuff that will have a positive effect on the server just to get some washed out version of it that people didn't vote on in the first place.
