A MK20 can easily destroy a man who is using a MK18, it depends on the skill of the user (I use this arguement because people in Police believe 5.56 is shite). But to what degree?
Also, maybe you can 360 no scope 2 guys while doing a backflip with a rook and 1 mag. But the majority of people can't. SMG's are Pistols that shoot fully automatically.
You don't bring a knife to a gunfight, in the same way, you should bring a pistol to a rifle fight. Out of curiosity why are you against it? I am interested?

@Jayray Holder Weapons have a level of skill and play style , there is nothing stopping you backpacking your rook and going on a mad one believe me we have done it far to many times to count.
Increasing the viability of a SMG is just unneeded and would cause far more damage then good, for a pistol to be good you have to have skill, with an SMG that skill field is lower therefore bringing more crime and issues.
To be honest with you I don't feel there is need for that sort of change.

@MrLongSlong I mean fair enough, there's many avenues to look at it from. I can see where you're coming from.
Though I personally see pistols as more of a threat since i can't see them once they are put away
Least an SMG is visible.
Also again, you wouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight. I feel like people deserve more of a chance against rebels.
This isn't for my benefit, i personally don't play Civ. But i see them constantly being robbed, majority of these people are new players who don't stand a chance.
