Idk why people have such a stick up their arse about rebels getting perks. They are the life of the server. Without rebels there is nothing to do for anyone. Some people claim they didn’t like The Plebs but we always got the island popping and always gave everyone something to do. It has not been the same since we left or joined factions 😞

I want rebels to have a continous money sink so they constantly have to make money

This, in my opinion will revive rebel gameplay.

What i don't want is Rebels having unfair advantages just for the sake of it. Nearly all suggestions i have seen offer nothing but low quality RP. Removing a dacamp script will NOT revive rebel life. Giving rebels shit to do will. Everyone is looking at things from a "Combat" perspective.

Generic combat is the thing i am pretty sure everyone has been tired of 😂 Don't you agree? Once you have everything as a rebel, all you can do it get into gunfights. Don't you want more? More to do? Better capture zones that puts rebels and factions up against eachother?

People get bored because for 4000 hours all they've done is combat, and it's stale.
Fun and enjoyable rebel life needs to be balanced with the rest of the server.

I agree with you, rebel life is so so important to the community.

I think the best thing, in my opinion right now is to make initiations simple. Stop with this "Back and forth"

"IF YOU DO THIS THEN I WILL DO THIS" "AND MY ALLIES WILL DO THIS" ect. It adds little value and RP before combat becomes scripted. Initiations should be simple.

If you point a gun at me and say "Put your hands on your head right now, i am sick of your shit" I have 2 options. 1. I try and defend myself (IF I HAVE MY GUN OUT). Or 2. If i am defenceless, i surrender. It should be that easy. But you should of course 100% have RP before initiation.

Maybe adding a value of life rule would benefit rebel life? Ever tried robbing a cop? 90% of the time they will attempt to just kill you. It's stupid, everyone, if at a clear disadvantage should surrender. What's your opinion on that? @YoCo

@Jayray Holder gang uniforms(both specific custom ones and generic redzone ones) should hopefully stop this friends etc script to result in more thorough rp and not the gang bs. However I have noticed this past week, every interaction I have had with NCA for example has been comply or be tased straight off the bat, which doesn’t leave much for rebels to respond to

@Simon Ross I agree, plus custom gang uniforms are just cool. Though i believe that this is something that takes time and resources, especially from Devs. So maybe it should be a thing that Gang members would have to make themselves to save time?

And that's completely wrong. If the first thing an officer does is pull out a taser, or the first things out of their mouth is "Put your hands up" Then you should make a PCC against them. (This is situational). If you're holding someone up at gun point then expect it. But if you're walking around with your gun out, they should always try talking to you first and foremost.

You have no idea how frustrating it is to be a rebel compared to being in a whitelisted faction.

It seems to be a common occurrence of people down voting suggestions that could help rebel life and you don't even want to give it a chance... Kind of sad to be honest

Played rebel for more than long enough. Is it difficult? yes, but shouldn't it be? If being a rebel is "Easy" kinda defeats the purpose.

I downvote suggestions if i believe that will be detrimental to the server, or if dislike the idea. The same way you may upvote something due to liking it. I am not a mindless zombie downvoting suggestions for no reasons.

Same could be said about people downvoting suggestions that would improve RP on the server, happens on both sides, and i agree, very sad.

Yeah ^^ the thing with rebel is not only are you outnumbered but once you are in a fight, people often only can get evacced once The fight is over. In Poseidon there are often spare people who are able to evac some downed people, or there are people willing to take you to the medics, whilst as rebel there are not as many people, people are more split up(for example people needing to do runs to make a bit of cash) and generally when you get downed, the chances of getting revived again is much lower than as a faction. If we had big gangs fighting like on other servers, with 10 or so people in one place fighting all the time because the zones can sustain gear(which it seems like we are heading towards!!), rebel would flow much better and be more sustainable

Not sure if you have clocked on or not but the server has been in a critical state for like 2 weeks now regarding the player base, if people are not willing to give a chance for some new suggestions then we're fucked

@Simon Ross I am massively in favour of having combat zones for gangs to war over, whoever holds it longest for the week gets "X" amount of money to their gang funds ect.

Maybe even bar police from going there to keep it fair and realistic?

I agree completely, it's much harder to get revived. But also, the majority of rebels wouldn't want to get revived when fighting the Police, as Prison is most likely the place they will be heading too.

Do you not think picking the wrong suggestion is equally detrimental? I am more than willing to try new things, if they sound fair and appealing.

Hence why we have a suggestion forum. if something sounds good, people will upvote it, if not, it will be downvoted. It allows the community to decide the direction it wants to go.

Nothing will change if players can strip weapons on players who are incapacitated, except you lose your guns, that won't really affect you though will it because you get your guns for FREE

Something as simple as stripping weapons from the fallen, It won't change RP in ANY way except you lose your gun, That's it. I just don't see how you can be so negative on something so simple and create this thread with the negative intent.
