Lots of compression, resizing and cropping. My profile picture was 950kb, i then used this site http://www.gifreducer.com/ to compress it to 500kb. I then used this site to reduce it to a size right for an avatar by cropping and resizing it. http://www.online-image-editor.com/ 

Copy the gif's url in insert other media then you can post it @Drew

guys i think he is talking about the profile picture gifs, because he mentioned the 0.05mb limit

Trying to use it as profile picture though, can't seem to reduce to sizes..

Since I can't "GIF" I have now changed my profile picture to a disappointed dog.

hello friend, i recently jumped onto the bandwagon, and i used a gif resizer, please refer to wwwwwwwwwww.google.com for further information.

simply find the gif u want, and resize it to fit within the upload limits. then voila! u have a fancy moving profile picture like all the cool kidz on the street!!!
