Ruin the CPU.... practically impossible to ruin an Intel cpu, unlile the AMD cpus that will literally explode when overclocked too high. Intel cpus just wont boot, and tbh youre silly not to overclock a K rated intel cpu as they OC so well, 50% OC is a cake walk for some. So I recommend finding...

then u can see youtube for easy tutorials. its very easy, 2 minutes in the BIOS and job done. 

find the model number of your cpu, download a tool called CPUZ and u will see http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

if your CPU is a K rated cpu then overclock that bitch to 4.5ghz and use a custom cooler ;)

Decent being 10fps ? lol? GTA5 with all settings maxed, 8xMSAA, 16xAF, high res shadows, etc, etc, uses about 8GB of VRAM, GTA970 only has 3.5GB of VRAM.

A suggestion that could help balance teams, ask for total hours played of CS along with current MM rank.

Yeah right... a single 970 running gta5 on max settings, that's BS unless youre claiming 10fps.

Doubt the paste is the probkem anyway, if ypu say the cooler felt really hot then the current paste is obviously doing its job of transferring heat from the cpu to the cooler....

Take it to a shop to change the thermal paste!? Why not do it yourself and upgrade the cooler whilst your at it? How much will they charge for for putting a drop of paste on your cpu? £50 lol??

Without giving away names, any chance we could get a tally of the individual ranks?   also do the team names have any relation to the maps we'll be playing on?
