Hahahaha that's the funniest thing but it was caused by desync so I'm not sure if it's refundable, but that's not down to me

I'm not 100% sure but I'm most positively sure you can't get comp for desync as it can be client side issue! and as you know you don't get comp for something that is client sided :)

I don't think you can get compensation for something that was caused on your end.
