You had his friend hostage so he killed you to save his friend that's not rdm. He should have role-played it better but think about real life if someone was threatening to kill you're friend and you had a shot would you really talk to him to let him know you're there or just kill him to save...

How was he meant to know his house was getting robbed you do not get a message saying that it is. Maybe thought how he might just be relogging which is bad roleplay but not combat logging. And if he comes back to spawn in his house and you are there then thats just wrong place wrong time.
