EA Live Chat Support is your friend. Also try force updating your squads through thr options, and if that doesnt work try force updating / repairing the base game. I couldn't find any matches the other day, found out there was a 100mb update that didnt get updated automatically for some reason.

So, I decided to build a new squad tonight to use along side my BPL team. I made it a Seria A / Russian League hybrid and I think it turned out ok.  If anything I feel that the RM lets it down a bit, however I was very limited with my choices for the position due to chemistry issues...

Honestly it just takes time and practise. Sure there are things you can learn from what people say, but ultimatly it comes down to you understanding the way the game works. I've put over 2000 hours in since release in 2012. And I still need to improve in areas lol.
