Can't see myself on map

I have not been on ARMA 3 in a while because i've been waiting for my new PC to arrive, that is the reason I have not been on ARMA in a while. I've come on yesterday and today to play but when i try to find myself on the map, I can't seem to see myself. I have a GPS. Is this meant to happen...
