I’m back at it on the suggestion forum to what I’m going to assume a heavily monitored post by the staff team after my last venture on this forum but fear not this is fully constructive towards a decent change IMO.

With that being said this suggestion is for the implementation of a new local job for crims which can be looked at in a similar fashion to taxi bins etc.

This would be that there is a local found on the map either in a consistent location or like dodgy docs. This local would provide the option to get given a hit where you would then go down and track and kill a local (could have an option for players but then would need further clarification with the RDM rule).

Obviously crims only have bank robberies and drugs and this provides a realistic “job” that crims can do without needing mass police online although with this suggestion it would be far too easy hence why I suggest that in a similar fashion to gus there is a delay in response before getting a target but in this delay police and potentially g6 can be notified of a local with threats towards and then gives them something to do in quiet times and provides the risk and level of difficulty needed.

Obviously I think payouts would have to be on a similar level to food or taxi but while being better paying due to the risk of going armed but nothing massively eco breaking.

I feel like this could operate similarly to the mission in gta campaign where you go around doing hits on who lester says. Fuck knows how hard it is to do but I imagine it would have difficulties but would genuinely provide a constant things crims can do.

People generally in my experience, don't care for the lives of locals. Placing hits on actual players through an NPC would lead to a lot of issues in regards to RDM as you said and is just a bad idea, there also isn't any framework (to my knowledge) that allows police to investigate the death of a local which limits any follow-up RP significantly. One thing I see brought up often is that Management, Devs and staff all do their best to encourage people to min-max things as little as possible and something like this would likely be min-maxed to the max to avoid any consequences. Killing a local for a quick paycheck could be cool but would ultimately lead to very little RP, the criminals won't stay around for long enough to get caught and the RP would essentially just be *Kills local, runs away from police, gets paid*

I really do think it's a cool idea, but I don't believe it quite works in the way you might've envisioned it.
 
Think it would be pretty cool, lower tier gang locals for lower rewards, Higher tier security locals for higher rewards, multiple stages, locked doors that need drilling and gunfire would be ample for police response and chance to investigate, intercept, watch from a distance and follow the crims.

i do agree that it has the possibility of being somewhat Min Maxxed and provide minimal rp but i feel its in the same vein as taxi and food delivery both if your just doing local jobs provide 0 rp so my thought was its smth similar to that for crims that actually makes sense and kill time.

But another idea that i feel could be good is the potential for higher rp routes to materialise, is that for whitelist gangs the can go to their gus and request a hit on another gang say for example Grove decides to get a hit on Mara. This might not need a payout but could have an interesting system with gang notoriety for example, robbing a local in no pixel 3.0 gave your gang a notification and you had to go defend said local; otherwise, you would receive a penalty on gang notoriety. Its worth noting i believe this is similar to locks and would need both gangs online.

Obviously, i imagine the scripting would be difficult but this could give much-needed life and depth to the cirm scene while also giving crims another avenue of making money that isnt drugs or large scale heists
 
My favourite kind of RP is that where I can drive around and have 50 people constantly causing chaos, slamming cars into civilians all around me. Sounds appealing.

ok well obviously there are limits that can be put in place as said above there can be considerations for behind locked doors, which requires death from being shot and limits on how many people can participate at 1 time.

It would be very easy to balance and actually does something positive for crims.
