Well hello there, it's me Stavik! Over the past few weeks and months we have been reading over both posts and voiced concerns on our platforms where simply a bit more communication would go a long way for both players but also the staff and development team. Scrolling through our "News & Announcements" looking at the past i stumbled upon something that we did quite well when we posted them back in the day, and i think it's about time we revived these so we quite simply can communicate better. So, welcome to the first and last RPUK "Monthly Newsletter" for this year! You see what i did there?
This is my little trial and a way to kick of some plans for next year and to address what the community somewhat craves. Better communication.
Most of these will not set into effect until the NEXT Newsletter but i promise, we do have something worth your while to read below!
This edition will have descriptions, and some will have actual information you should pay attention to. Fair warning to you all, this will be a newsletter for the good, but also for the bad. We hope to address issues with here so that we all together can work on the issues we experience to ensure a much better experience both in Roleplay and as a community, players and even friends.
STAFF RECAP – MONTH IN REVIEWConcerns, Improvements & Observations
• Rulebreak Overview:
Patterns, frequent issues, or major incidents noticed this month that we would need to address directly to our players. This could vary, but as always, focus on high quality roleplay. The golden rule really does come into play, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Have fun, have a laugh and allow others to partake in all the fun!
• Positive Progress:
Improvements the staff team has seen, good community behavior, better RP, etc.
• Notable Meeting Points:
This can include Important decisions or discussions from staff meetings or highlight decisions or rule changes.

There's a lot cooking in the dev kitchen. We've got 4 new activities for crims on the way, 2 of which can be seen in the trailer linked above, 1 still in early testing and 1 still very early in development. A new system is also in the works to provide a foundation for smaller criminal activities. All that illegally earned cash can then be spent on new games and features at the casino.
For the "legal" groups, the existing offices are being replaced with a system offering "unparalleled customization" only found in GTA:Online.
A bunch of optimisation passes are being made as old mistakes catch up with us, both in the codebase and on the assets side. Older interiors are being phased out for more modern and optimised ones, and clothing is being optimised without compromising on quality.
The emergency fleet is receiving one final overhaul to switch it from our old custom ELS to GTA's native sirens that properly illuminate their surroundings (e.g. the new Shinobi and Tow Truck already use this system).
Alongside these larger features come a bunch of small adjustments to new and existing systems to further tweak the server experience, so keep an eye on the changelog.

And for the ones that really stand out as well we would love to try and create something unique for this player, maybe a mural? Do keep in mind that type of addition might take some time. What you will notice is that we have reviewed all of the current murals and a few might go away to allow us to further reward our great roleplayers.Now, were do we actually do this?! What the bumba?
