Eye Interaction - Boot

Hello, making this a short and simple suggestion,

Could we make the eye interaction only for boats/aircraft and not for cars/trucks? I am not sure on the possibility of that being able to be done but it would make things easier and less reliant on the eye interaction and not having loads of options of what to select when using the eye on a vehicle - I can already see myself accidentally parking a vehicle when in reality I want to get something out the boot.

Or make it so the eye and "Y" can both be used.

(Thanks Lenny for the picture)

Pros -
Ease of access
Less miss-clicking and punching the air or someone next to you
Less options on cars via the eye interaction

Cons -
Development work

This is my suggestion, not the staff teams

I actually thought it was a bug. I don't think this is the "QoL" update that was needed.

I personally consider that update as an anti-QoL, I can understand it for when you are spamming Y trying to figure out where the boot is, but id rather spam Y for a few seconds then go through the alt menu. It's bound to happen for there to be an unpopular feature once in awhile, especially when there are so many great features, that's just the development life, and I do believe this feature is one of those that should be reverted.
(Thank you for the mention)

Wish people would give it a chance longer than a day at least before wanting it changed back

Not the RPUK way.

I agree with the sentiment expressed here, the change defeats the point of having the keybind and would have probably worked better earlier on when our playerbase hadn't gotten so used to it. I revisited my original change and found a way of working around the flaw that held it back from making it to production and causing it to be replaced with the eye.

Next restart the interaction will be reverted back to the original way, but keep the improvements of being able to access the vehicle inventory from (almost) anywhere in the immediate proximity instead of only the centre section. Additionally, eye interactions are now sorted alphabetically (thank you @Lenny V./Alex Blackwood )

Implemented.

Thank you for the suggestion.
