Four-O-Eight

408 wasn’t formed on the streets. It was forged inside a cell. The name comes from Cell Block 408, where a group of men found themselves locked up on charges ranging from armed robbery to firearms possession. Still serving time, they built something most gangs never manage: real trust. Not the kind based on loud talk or quick money, but trust earned through shared time, shared risk and shared silence. During their sentence, they planned something different. Not just a name or a flag, but a system built on structure, loyalty and control. They had seen what happens when gangs are run by ego. Crews get too big, too loud and eventually fall apart. That wasn’t going to be them. In 408, you earn your place. You speak when it matters and move with purpose. When release came, they didn’t scatter. They regrouped quietly. Their new home was Spanish Avenue, a block just outside the city’s main flow. At first glance, it looked like nothing special, but to them, it was a clean slate. Within days, cars were parked, blinds drawn and the first layer of control put in place. Since returning to the streets, 408 has moved carefully, just as they intended. They have rebuilt their lines of communication but don’t offer trust easily. They are not chasing politics or recognition. Their focus is simple: keep Spanish Avenue clean, locked and loyal.
