So while coming into work this morning with my £2000 laptop in my bag, I suddenly felt my bag getting wet. I quickly opened my bag to find a can of Pepsi I forgot about had exploded open and my laptop was now sat in a puddle. Im thinking its okay, I've pulled it open and I think got rid of the Pepsi using compressed air to blast it away, but still sad times.  :(

you should sue pepsi for unsafe packaging, what if that were in an infants hands :eek:

 
The trouble with fizzy drinks is they leave a stick residue behind which can be problematic to say the least.

I do not wish this on anyone so hopefully your Lap top will recover. 

 
I spilled soda over my keyboard aswell yesterday, took me a long ass time to clean :

 
Its not looking good, guys, the screen is fucked, USB ports on the left arn't working and I the WiFi keeps dropping (the network is on the left). Just got a quote for a replacement chassis, (which includes screen, motherboard, Graphics card will be £1099 inc VAT. Its time to call my insurance company me thinks. The silver lining is that the chassis has been updated recently so my GTX 780M will be upgraded to a GTX 880M.

Chassis - £1099

WiFi Card - £50

Windows 8.1 - £61.50 (Because its locked to the motherboard, it needs to be replaced!

Labor - £100+

Total = £1310.50

Yep. That's an expensive laptop repair. On the other hand, so long as the insurance company pays for that, and if I can convince my misuses to let me spend an extra £400, I could get the SLI version  :lol:

 
That's one pretty badass laptop what kinda frames do you get puts my Alienware to shame.

 
I can get upto 40fps on AC: Black Flag with settings on ultra. With luck I can upgrade to the SLI version of my laptop, then I should be getting 80 - 90  :lol:  I should with luck also be able to get 10fps on altis life  :D

 
:) that is some specked laptop what's the model I have an mx17 and I really struggle get 40 on black flag but it was an overpriced piece of crap I never should of bought.
