Mayor security and staff

When a mayor chosen I think they should have members of staff and security. They can either hire them by them selves or have a group of people that is available to every mayor that comes into power which is assigned to them straight away. This would open up a new job for civilians.

That is what the Police are for! Plus most Mayors have their own gang for protection.

Not to be rude but the police aren't going to waste time protecting the mayor or at least I don't think they would. If they do then fine but the mayor does need other staff.

It is mostly friends of the major who do help out, or bored rebels.

Could work as a new job, but would you trust random people with your life?

I agree that the police shouldn't have to look after the Mayor all the time.
