Panic button rework suggestion

In my opinion it doesnt make sense for G6, Rangers, NHS and police to all share the same Panic button system.
It does make sense, however, for them to have a panic system internally. What i want to suggest is to change how the panic button alert works depending on what radio channel you are using.
I feel this change is needed due to the sheer amount of dispatches that are constantly coming through for police player and my experience is that as soon as a panic comes through, players tend to instantly stop what they are doing to address it. This means that many RP situations are cut short.

In simple terms, if a player is on channel X players on the following channels would be sent the panic alert.

example:
Freq 1-9 = Alerts 1-9.
Freq 10-13 = Alerts 1-13.
Freq 14-15 = Alerts 14-15.
Freq 16 = Alerts 16.
Freq 17 = Alerts 17.
Freq 19-20 = Alerts 19-20

I understand that there will be some situations where its necessary for G6 to have a direct line to Police through this system (like a high-risk prision transport etc). My solution to this would be for them to simply switch to an available channel like 9 during this time. In any other situation, either a dispatch or frequency switch for assistance can be used.

Just going to leave this here before the thread gets more replies:

Ranger panics are currently internal.

Other factions getting the sound played for them is a bug that's fixed pending update.

NHS frequencies would still alert police, maybe they should ping G6 too?
G6 shouldn't ping police IMO because they are a private company, if they are putting themselves in a situation where they think police might be needed, they should plan ahead.

So cypress attack a money transport or the prison and G6 panic but shouldn't expect the police to help out, that seems silly, I'm pretty sure if a security guard in town hits a panic it alerts the police also they just check what it is first

Not to mention we don't have access to those frequencies

CPS also have panics and can not access the frequencies

Unfortunately, I am going to be rejecting this suggestion for the following reason(s):
  • Lack of community support.
  • I personally see no issue with how the panic system works in its current state. Also, for clarity, Rangers have their panics internal; they are not shared outside of their faction. Panics should be trained by faction leads on how/when to use them, if people are misusing them, then that's a roleplay repercussion to face.
Rejection does not always mean we would not consider the idea in future, so if you or anyone else disagrees and believes this would be a good idea, please feel free to make a new suggestion to gauge further community feedback.
