In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
The reason for my ban was for being in or joining a particular steam group which from what I believe was being offensive or mocking a member(s) of this community. Initially I did not participate within this group of people nor communicate with them directly via steam and within the group itself. As soon as I received my punishment I was confused for why and immediately left the group without hesitation after I read the reason for my ban.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Recently I have been doing some very important exams and still am, during my exam period and the build up towards them I have not been very active on my computer or technology in general other that the usual breaks between mt exams. In the last month I have not only been working hard but intentionally reflecting on the incident which took place in April and also learning from my mistake. Mainly I have been revising and working but otherwise that summarises what I have been doing recently, I believe that it is a good idea to attempt to get un-banned for this silly mistake on my behalf and try to come back to this community after my formal exam period.
Why do you want to return ?
I would love to return back to this community although it has not been a long time, it has felt like one. I currently don't have enough time to play consistently but I would love to get back into the swing of this community when I have finished my exams as I have a very long break to look forward to. I have been a member of this community for about 3 years now and it would be stupid to miss out on all the fun and excitement that I used to have with people just because of a minor mistake. I also want to re-iterate the fact that I completely understand the reason for my punishment and I have reflected on this to insure that it will never happen again in the future. Another reason for why I want to return is because not only the server but people have taught me many useful things whilst I have been here and have helped a lot, I don't want a senseless mistake of mine to get in the way of my connection with others within this tight net of people. Lastly, there is no other way to say this but I really do love playing here, I have had a passion for this game ever since I saw a video of it on youtube which inspired me to give it a try and I remember this being the first server I ever logged on to, I would hate to see that disappear from me...
Why should we unban you ?
I believe that I should be un-banned not because it was a senseless mistake on my behalf but because I did not mean to anger/bully any member of this community and would never do so in the future. I have played with this community for a long time (a few years now) and know the player base and foundation well. Not only has this server taught me things that I would have never known before but has also let me talk with people and meet some real characters which my friends are now. This has been a learning curve for me and I understand how severe something like this can be and how it can affect someone and I have intentionally taken a month to reflect on my silly action and it will not happen again. I did not want to appeal straight away like some people do without reflecting on the initial punishment. Also, during my break, I have been very busy and this problem has been on my mind and I want to clear it up whilst I have the spare time to do so. As I said before I never had the intentions of offending people within this community like other people did and therefore I would not say I am innocent but think that I deserve another chance playing here as it is my passion to do so.
