In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was watching some youtube then got told to join the CN Teamspeak. I went to Teamspeak and when I joined there was quite a lot of people in there and I asked what was going on. Once I was told what happened I watched sauls video and decided to comment #FreeSaul (I also did this on a status post which is breaking rule 12.5) . At first, I was confused on why I got banned but then I realized that I shouldn't be discussing things about people getting banned especially when the music on the video is extremely insulting towards a member (and admin) of this community. I Realized now that when commenting on the video something along the lines of "#FreeSaul he did nothing wrong" shows people who aren't part of the community what the community could be like. My comment was clearly giving people a bad idea of what RPUK really is.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Six months have not passed but I've been studying and playing some other, terrible, Altis life RP servers. Whilst playing on the other servers which I will not mention I have realized how good this server really was and why enforcing rules is important for good gameplay and for community reasons.
Why do you want to return ?
Most of my time playing Roleplay on arma has been on this server. It has been a fun time and every time I go on arma I always looked forward to coming onto Rpuk but in the past month, I haven't actually enjoyed going to a different community. I always looked forward to the weekly updates usually on Thursday and felt like they were usually great updates. I feel like RPUK is one of the only Altis life servers which focus mainly on roleplay instead of gunfights. Now when I first joined RPUK I thought Roleplay was stupid and always wanted to get into a gunfight. I have since liked roleplay and met a lot of people on this server who I enjoyed encountering everyday. The reason I am posting this unban appeal now is that I feel like I won't be playing Arma in six months time because I don' really enjoy other servers.
Why should we unban you ?
I have followed the server rules strictly since I have joined but on that day I decided to be an idiot and participate in something idiotic. I Can promise you I will try my best to not break any rule and I will definitely not participate in anything like this ever again. I have also learned my lesson and now know that if anything bad is about to happen or I feel like anything bad is going to happen I should report it. Also next time anyone I know gets banned and I feel like he/she was banned unfairly instead of taking things into my own hand or starting a "riot" I should just leave and tell them to create an unban appeal.
