In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I was banned due to my affiliation to the Morrison's gang. I think my ban was mainly a precaution to stop more things happening on the server as other members of the gang were mass VDMing and RDMing. I did not condone any of these actions, and now realise my mistake and failure to alert the staff team to this happening. I was also banned due to requesting it from Oliver, however this is not an excuse, I now realise that I would have been blanket banned regardless of the outcome. I apologize for attempting to use this as a scapegoat in previous unban appeals as it was my affiliation to the group that got me banned, not my request. I merely asked for it so I could get it out of the way.

I may also have been banned for being in a channel on another teamspeak that had a derogatory name pointed at Vladic_Ka.

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

In the last Six months, I have been particularly focused on my school work since I have started my A-Levels. I have been away from gaming in general as I just didn't have the time to work it around my school work and social life. I attempted to play on a couple of other communities but just couldn't get on as I wasn't enjoying myself as much as I ever did.

I have also been losing weight for the best part of a year, having lost 112 lbs at this current time. This has been done with a mixture of diet and exercise and I now feel myself once again healthy. As of Wednesday the 21st of March, I have also submitted an application to become a Mechanical Aircraft Technician in the RAF. I feel this shows just how much my maturity has come since my ban.

Why do you want to return ?

I want to return to this sever as it is where I started playing and enjoying Arma.

I was a full member of the community for around a year and a half before my ban, and in that time I had attempted to stay out of trouble. I was never the person chucking racist insults around or being generally childish, however I always seemed to get caught in groups of people who were. I will be the first to admit that I was immature when playing however I attempted to keep that to myself for the majority of my play experience.

I have met lots and lots of brilliant people and friends within the community, some that I still talk to and play games with today. I feel that is something you do not get with any other community. There was not a day where I wasn't in tears laughing due to the amounts of fun we were having. I believe that because this server is RP orientated, it allows these hilarious situations to flourish, and they encourages so that everyone could have a good time. I know my experience wasn't always roleplay orientated however (and ask any ex gang members) I always suggested funny ways to attempt to roleplay, from google docs to on the fly stuff.

Why should we unban you ?

The reasons that I was banned (in my eyes) were for being associated with Morrison's and being present in a teamspeak channel that was offensively named.

I feel it important to say that at the time I did not agree with what other gang members were doing, and I merely logged on during the incident to see if it was really happening and they weren't taking the piss. I now understand it foolish to use the tag that I did use, however I was just being a sheep and following everyone else. I also believe it to be outright stupid for me to join the teamspeak room, however the name was changed after I had joined it. I now know that I should've taken this opportunity to just leave the channel however as a gang everyone was trying to discuss what we were going to do next. I am not a toxic person so I apologize for my affiliation to the group. I was mainly afraid of losing good friends if I said anything so I did not. I need to add that I have nothing against Vladic or any of the staff team.

This appeal is not my way of attempting to say that I wasn't involved or part of the gang, because I 100% was involved just as everyone else. I did not join in on the toxic acts others did as I did not agree with their reasoning. It is never acceptable to ruin others' fun just because you have a problem with how a server is being ran. I could've been more vocal with my beliefs at the time, again I apologize for that as well.

If I'm honest, I have only spoken with members of the group a handful of times since the event. It was mainly just catching up over a few round of rainbow 6 siege. I have not spoke to some of the more toxic individuals since the incident, and will continue not to.

In my eyes, I always used to get pressured into doing things, and often followed the lead of others. This is what often got me into these type situations. I now know that I need to take charge and if something is going wrong attempt to either steer it in the right direction or just not get involved at all.

I am willing to put my hands up and admit that I've made mistakes in past, however I am now past this. I have grown up more in the last year than my entire life before. I hope you can see this

Those toxic individuals, are a few people that I used to call my friends.

They are people that will never be unbanned from the community due to the amount of drama, and shit that they have caused. They were bullies and wouldn't once stop to consider someone elses feelings before acting. Many of them were involved with DDOS attacks and racist language and that behaviour is excusable. If I'm honest I'm not sure how some of them aren't in prison.

I know you're now going to ask, so why were you friends with them? I was friends with them because they also got along with the group. They may have had all these horrible and bad traits, but as a group we were mainly built of people who were just good at arma as a game. This meant that these peoples behaviour was overlooked by their ability to perform in game. Looking back that was a stupid concept and we should of been looking out for the community as a whole however at the time, we wanted to be the best.

Looking back, I find their behaviour despicable and that is the main reason why I hope to never speak to them again. This was only a couple of people, and they managed to corrupt an entire group.

There is certainly no problem with this, as to be honest I believe them to be despicable.

Off the top of my head we have:

Silker

I used to call Silker one of my good mates, but looking back he is probably the most toxic individual I've ever come across. Every second word out of his mouth was a slur of some kind, and he only did things to please and entertain himself rather than let everyone have fun. He had an 'aura" of toxicity around him, and I personally believe him responsible for turning a large majority of the group from nice people playing, into racist toxic monsters. In some words you could say that he 'toxically radicalised' a lot of us, if you get my drift.

Elliot Ash

I never really liked Elliot if I'm honest. He used to plant ideas of Mass RDM into the heads of people, and entice them into doing it. On the day of the blanket ban, it was Elliot that recommended the acts that were performed. It's a shame he's like that to be honest, as he lives nearby to myself. Whenever I see him in people I tend to avoid him as I don't want an encounter.

These are probably the most toxic people out of the group, and I believe that neither of them have any chance of an unban on this community (rightly so). None of the others stuck out as much as these two did to me, in terms of general bad behaviour.

If people are still to this day signing up to the forums to troll, they are simply stupid. I don't understand why they would go to the effort to do this to create 5-10 seconds of 'laughs' and then get banned. It baffles me if I'm honest.

Can't understand it personally, and it really shows how pathetic they are haha

I understand that childish little shits are a waste of time, and looking back, that exactly what I was.

Running to that room to regroup wasn't a smart move from myself and I now realise that, hence me attempting to distance myself since the incidents. Myself, along with a few others, only joined the room as we didn't really know what to do next in terms of arma 3. I especially didn't join in with any of the drama, and tried to stay away from it. I apologise again for wasting yours and the staff teams time.

I don't think it would be a wise move unbanning you, There is a lot of history and if i start googling your steam ID there is some fishy stuff elsewhere also including a racism ban.
