In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for 1.6 'The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues. '
The 1.6 rule has been a rule that was put in place so that the staff are able to protect the server from people, like myself, that have coursed the server a problem or to negatively affect the other players experiences.
The way in which I broke this rule was by killing three members of the community, that were playing by the rules set by the server, without an initiation. The reason why I was banned for 1.6 and not 2.2 (RDM) was due to the fact I deliberately broke this rule, and coursed the server a problem that i regret completely to this day.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Over the last few months of me being away from the server I have done a lot of growing up, I've become a member of Sixth Form, at first I went to college and I was not a very positive student. I decided shortly after my ban on RPUK that I would change to Sixth Form, now i'm not saying me being banned made me change schools but it was about me changing my outlook on life, and trying to 'grow up a bit' as they say. Sixth Form gave me a new chance to prove to people like my teachers and my parents that i could be a positive student, as well as that i wanted to prove it to myself. I have come back this term with two As and a distinction, and this is just a little proof that i have managed to mature as a pupil.
However I did not only mature as a pupil, I wanted to mature into a adult. I had never had any kind of responsibility, and i think that was a huge reason why i was so naive. I got myself a job, now it does not pay much, its very long hours, and i feel like death after ever shift, but it gave me something that i had never had before and that is self respect, and the fact that not only did i not respect other people, i didn't respect myself and how i wanted people to see me. I've told you this story because i think it can have an impact on my unban, I hope you can see from this that i have matured from the child i was when playing this community, into more of an adult, that respects other people and wants to bring a positive impact back to this community.
Why do you want to return ?
Roleplay.co.uk used to be a huge part of my life, its a community that you not only play a game on but create friendships. That is the part of this community I miss the most, its not the game itselfs, but the community off people. I realised that the reason for me wanting to get unbanned is due to the fact I want to be apart of that community again. I used to be a huge gamer, since being banned from RPUK I have lost that, and am hoping that if I regain the community that I will have that again. So the main reason I want to come back is to come back to the friends that I lost, and to be a positive member of the community, that I once was, again.
Why should we unban you ?
First thing I would like to say, is that what I did was wrong and I completely regret it, I was acting out of anger due to the fact I had just found out that some of my closest friends had been 1.6 blanket banned (Morrisons). This of course is still not an excuse for my reaction, however I hope you could take into consideration, that when you spend every day for a year or so talking to people, it's a pretty upsetting fact that you won't be able to carry on
doing that. I randomly killed three people at a gas station, I remember it perfectly, I remember thinking 'I don't care if i get banned' and for a while that was very true, but after time I have realised this was a huge mistake, and i hope you may look past my moment of anger and at least give me a chance to reform myself into the positive member of this community once more.
If you were to unban me, which i truly doubt however hope you do, i will bring a positive member to this community. I am sat up at 2 am writing this unban appeal, due to the fact I had just logged onto the servers teamspeak after about 2 months and still recognised so many old friends, and truly hope i can be given the chance to be with them all again. When I first played this community i was a positive member of the community, yes i did have problems such as being banned for other offences, but none where delbert and they were not out of spit like this one was. I hope you can accept my apologies for effectively attacking what you have built here, i truly regret it, and that's why i hope you can look past it.
I love everything about this server, the roleplay quality is the best out of any server i have ever played in my 2 - 3 years on this game, i have never found one that is even at the same level. I have been playing this server for 2 years for the most part i didn't course trouble, as i said before apart from my previous bans i would like to say i was a positive member of the community, if i am unbanned i will not only play to the rules like an angel, i will try to be 10x the positive player i was before, and I will not course a problem again, the reason i know i want, is like many people that have spent time away from this server, all you want to do is come back, and i don't want to have to miss it again.
I want to apologise to @Wilco for attacking the community that you built, the members of the community i affected with my 'stunt' that ended up in my banning, and i would like to ask you to forgive me for what i did, and i know this is a huge thing to try to do, but after all, people being banned is because you believe them to be a threat to the community, i am no longer a threat, i will be a positive member of this community if given the chance, however i also understand that being banned is a punishment, and if you believe i have not had a punishment worth the crime i will accept that.
Thank you to everyone that makes this community a enjoyable experience i truly hope i will be given the chance to do the same.
